Most Hong Kong people do not own a car, as they are accustomed to taking public transport. The consumption of public transport has been recognized as a necessity to most people. A good logistic can accelerate the delivering speed for goods and enhance the trading transportability and mobility; in addition, a good public transportation network enables passengers to arrive at their desired destination in a fast, convenient and comfortable manner.

Why would Hong Kong people sleep in the public transport during their journeys has became a rationale of this two-year project. By documenting different people sleeping in a variety of transports such as ferries, buses, mini buses, tram and MTR (Mass Transit Railway), I want to reflect the questions are they experiencing too much stress from work or study, thus taking advantage of the travelling times to compensate for the sacrificed sleeping hours? Or are they preparing themselves in the continuation of another night of fever?
